As a photographer who’s become quite blasé with mainstream visuals, John John is constantly in search of new angles from which to look at things, and new ways to paint them in light.

​

Whether that comes in the form of stills or motion, commercial or narrative, the drive to feel an “ooh!” in a sea of “meh” is what drives and inspires new endeavors.​

 

A Hispanic filmmaker born and raised in Miami, Florida, John John is now based in Boston, Massachusetts — but works across New England, New York, and Florida. As a dual citizen of Spain, he is also open to work across the entire E.U.

After earning a dual degree in International Relations and Film Production from Boston University, John John began working as a writer/director, cinematographer/photographer, and occasional producer and actor around Boston.

With experience in commercials, and narrative shorts and features, he is well-versed in camera operating (including Steadicam) and set lighting.
